Please be aware that we reserve the right to amend the policies and procedures outlined herein at any time. Any modifications will be reflected in the “Accounts” section of our website.

We are committed to protecting your privacy at E&R. We will not collect any personal information from you that you do not volunteer, and we are the sole owner of all information collected on this site. We do not sell, share, or rent this information to others in any way that we have not mentioned in this statement.

PAYMENT

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions set forth by E&R Laundry and Dry Cleaners, a division of Botnick/5 Ventures, Inc., conducting business as E&R – The Campus Laundry (E&R).

I further understand that E&R has been granted permission to bill any current outstanding charges from the previous academic year(s)/summer program(s) immediately to the credit card number that I have provided with this order.

Account balances are charged monthly to the credit card on file.

Invalid cards require prompt monthly payment; late fees apply until the balance is current. Ten-day overdue accounts will result in service suspension until the bill is paid in full.

E&R may employ collection agencies and notify credit bureaus for delinquent accounts.

FRESH BED & BATH LINEN RENTAL PLAN/ FRESH TOWEL RENTAL PLAN

All linen must be returned at the end of the school term.

To receive credit for returned rental linen, all items must be placed in your personalized laundry bag and dropped at the regular drop-off location.

Missing linen will be charged to the credit card on file.

Cost for Unreturned Linen:

  • Flat Sheet – $16.10 per sheet
  • Pillowcase – $6.85 per pillowcase
  • Bath Towel – $10.95 per towel

  • Blanket (summer only) – $31.15 per blanket
  • If a full linen set is not returned, the cost is $143.80.

E&R will provide scheduled weekly laundry service during the Term of this Agreement. Services are contingent upon payment in advance or an active payment plan; delinquent accounts for over 10 days will not receive services.

Replacement bags will be billed at $45.00 each.

Additional bags sent in for processing per week will incur processing fees of $49.00 per bag. All plans are for individual use only.

Sharing of laundry bags/plans between students constitutes immediate forfeiture of service with no refund provided. The customer is responsible for fees related to the processing of any clothing sent in their bag, whether owned by that student or not.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation Prior to Start of Service

Cancellations requested in writing at [email protected] 10 days prior to the start of first campus pick up will receive a full refund less a $65 administrative processing fee.

Partial Refund After Service Start

Plans non-refundable and non-cancellable 7 days after first scheduled campus pickup.

The $65 administrative fee applies only to cancellations permitted under this policy and does not create an independent right to cancel.

Withdrawal from School

If a student withdraws from the school for medical reasons, E&R may, at its sole discretion, provide a non-transferable letter of credit valid for one academic year.

Cancellation Process: Cancellations are only accepted through written requests to [email protected]. They cannot be processed at campus store locations, during registration, with E&R route representatives, through our website, or via telephone.

No Refund for Non-Use

Failure to use the service, failure to send laundry, failure to activate, or voluntary non-participation does not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund once service has commenced.

Administrative Fee

Where a cancellation is permitted under this policy, a $65 administrative fee will apply once an order has been placed.

Minors

Service agreements must be entered into by a parent or legal guardian. By submitting payment, the payer represents that they are authorized to enter into this agreement.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback while services are active constitutes breach of this agreement. E&R reserves the right to pursue recovery of disputed amounts and associated fees.

REPORTING POLICIES

All claims, including those for missing or damaged items, must be reported within 10 days of the order’s completion.

Due to variations in fabrics and dyes E&R – The Campus Laundry cannot guarantee against color loss, bleeding, and shrinkage when following manufacturer’s care instructions.

E&R – The Campus Laundry takes additional steps to remove stains identified prior to processing. However, we cannot guarantee the removal of existing stains.

While we attempt to remove and return items from pockets, E&R – The Campus Laundry is not responsible for items left in clothing or any resulting damage

Upon receiving a missing/damaged item claim within the acceptable period, E&R – The Campus Laundry will take necessary actions to locate, repair, or reprocess the missing/damaged item(s).

If we are unsuccessful in resolving a missing/damaged item claim within 10 business days, reimbursement for said missing/damaged item(s) will be initiated.

Claim and Reimbursement Policy:

Reimbursement of clothing is applicable when E&R – The Campus Laundry is responsible for loss or damage to garments. The maximum reimbursement values for various categories of items are as follows:

  • $75 for any one Wash, Dry, Fold item (including everyday wear items)
  • $500 for any total bundled Wash, Dry, Fold claim
  • $200 for any one Laundered, Gentle Care, or Dry-Cleaned item
  • $500 for any total Laundry, Gentle Care, or Dry-Cleaned order based on fair market

E&R – The Campus Laundry follows American National Standards Institute Fair Claims Guide, which is a depreciated schedule based on the life expectancy of a given item, when determining reimbursements for lost or damaged items. This guide takes into consideration numerous factors, including fair market depreciation and the nature of the claimed items.

These reporting policies are designed to provide clarity and fairness in addressing claims related to our laundry services. By utilizing E&R – The Campus Laundry’s services, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these reporting policies.

SERVICE POLICIES

Students must place all garments in their E&R bag and zip it completely before pick-up. E&R will not pick up laundry in a non-E&R bag or an E&R bag with a non-E&R bag attached.

E&R is not responsible for clothing left out in a non-E&R bag, or for processing such clothing. Failure to follow this policy may result in forfeiture of service.

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they have their laundry bag prior to the start of service. Once service commences the bag has been left at the agreed-upon location on the agreed upon day and at the agreed upon time.

Bags should be left at the agreed-upon location on the agreed-upon day and time. E&R will not make a return trip for missed pickups, nor credit accounts for missed pickups.

E&R reserves the right to adjust pick-up and drop-off times at its own discretion (due to weather events, for instance) and reserves the right to reschedule such times upon prior notice to the Customer.

Missed dirty laundry pick up must be reported within 24 hours. E&R – The Campus Laundry will take the necessary actions to get the laundry picked up after a missed pick-up report. If E&R is responsible for the missed pick-up, credit for the week of service will be reimbursed.

E&R – The Campus Laundry is not responsible for clothing (orders) before pickup or after delivery.

Customers are responsible for the accuracy of account information on file, including contact details and address.

E&R is not responsible for missed notifications or service announcements from invalid contact information.

The student is responsible for picking up clean clothing in a timely fashion. Items not claimed within 21 days of delivery will incur storage fees. E&R is not responsible for clothing left at school.

Students with our Comforter Plan include comforter, duvet, and/or blanket cleaning. Please contact Customer Service to request a comforter bag and one will be delivered next time we are on campus. Students who do not have our Comforter Plan may also request a comforter bag but will be charged for blanket, duvet and/or comforter cleaning.

By utilizing E&R – The Campus Laundry’s services, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these service policies.

CLEANING POLICIES

All items submitted for cleaning must adhere to E&R’s handling policies.

E&R – The Campus Laundry follows industry best practices, but variations in fabrics and dyes may lead to color loss, bleeding, and shrinkage despite following manufacturer’s care instructions.

Please note: E&R is a commercial laundry using commercial equipment. Items may be processed differently than in home machines. Our experienced fabricare experts determine the processing method based on professional judgment.

All processing is done in our state-of-the-art facility by fabricare experts who have decades of experience in all areas of our operation.

We videotape the unpacking, washing, folding, and repacking processes. While labeling is not mandatory, we recommend it for added identification.

E&R’s policy is to clean everything in the student’s personalized laundry bag, provided we have the capability to clean it, regardless of additional charges.

Different plans entail different cleaning methods. Please review your plan details for clarity on charges and included services.

If you have signed up for E&R’s Wash/Dry/Fold or Just the Basics plans, our fabricare experts will clean garments in the manner that E&R deems most appropriate to ensure their proper care.

Items with delicate care instructions (machine wash cold, tumble dry low, hand wash, line dry, etc.) or unique features (buttons, clasps, embellishments) will incur additional charges for gentle care or dry cleaning.

Items that cannot be commercially laundered and needing dry cleaning and/or gentler cleaning process will be charged per piece cleaning charges to the credit card that is on file monthly.

Sweaters will always be processed through our Gentle Care and/or Dry Clean process and will incur a piece price charge with our Wash Dry Fold and Just the Basics plans.

E&R’s Look Sharp plan includes dry cleaning and gentle care at no extra charge.

Additional charges will still be incurred for sending multiple bags, requesting major repairs or alterations.

Though we carefully inspect all clothing to determine what can go through our wash/dry/fold process vs. what needs gentle care or dry cleaning, please note that regardless of the plan purchased:

E&R cannot be responsible for damage to items without care labels or with special care instructions.

E&R does not gentle care or dry clean everyday items such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers, or jeans. E&R’s standard procedure as it relates to the cleaning of t-shirts (long and short sleeved, camisoles, tunics, and tank tops), sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers, and jeans (denim, white and colored) for all plans is to launder these items regardless of the care label.

E&R’s liability as pertains to these types of garments will be limited to $75 per garment based on fair market depreciation.

All bras, underwear (including delicate) and bathing suits, are always wash/dry regardless of care label.

E&R is unable to provide any alternate cleaning methods for bras, underwear, or bathing suits.

Certain items like coated jeans, everyday items (t-shirts, sweatshirts), and specific materials (leathers, suedes) have limitations or exclusions in processing.

Items such as sneakers, backpacks, handbags, etc., will not be processed. They will be returned in a white customer service bag on a hanger with a $7.50 fee per unprocessed item.

STUDENTS PLEASE NOTE:

Prior to sending clothing for processing, kindly remove any paper name tags to avoid complications during cleaning.

Please refrain from sending clothing decorated with glitter, puff paint, tie dye, or other “arts and crafts” elements. These items may damage other clothing during our heat and cleaning process, and E&R will not be held responsible for any resulting damage.

Before submitting clothing, check all pockets for items such as ballpoint pens, lipsticks, wallets, iPods, earbuds, etc. Remove safety pins, club pins, and brooches. E&R is not responsible for damage caused by items left in pockets or for the loss of such items.

Ensure all leather or fashion belts are removed from clothing before sending them in for processing.

Valuables in Pockets:

Items of value ($30 or more) found in pockets or laundry bundles will be shipped back to you at your expense. A Customer Service Representative will contact you for payment options to cover shipping and handling fees. Unclaimed items within 90 days will be donated, disposed of, or destroyed.

Cash in Laundry Bundles:

Any cash (more than $15.00) found in laundry bundles will be returned to the student or school in the form of a check via USPS. A processing fee of $10.95 will be incurred for these mailed checks.
